TL;DR
IT Solutions Analyst (QA): Designing and executing manual and automated tests for web applications and APIs with an accent on product verification and validation. Focus on streamlining testing activities, enforcing quality standards throughout the development lifecycle, and mentoring QA team members.
Location: Must be local to Basak, Lapu-Lapu City, PH. Relocation and visa sponsorship are not provided.

What you will do
- Define testing strategies for product verification and validation and maintain comprehensive test plans.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications and APIs.
- Participate in internal and cross-functional reviews of requirements and design specifications.
- Review and summarize test results, log anomalies in defect tracking systems, and recommend solutions.
- Enforce quality standards across the development lifecycle and improve testing processes.
- Support and mentor junior members of the QA team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience testing complex software systems.
- Strong knowledge of QA processes, testing methodologies, and documentation standards.
- Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing.
- Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman and performance testing tools like JMeter.
- Experience using MS 365, Jira, and Zephyr for test and bug management.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Jenkins or similar CI/automation servers.
- Experience with database testing and SQL.
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python.
- Experience with automation tools like Tosca, Playwright, TestNG, or Selenium.
