What you will do

• Prepare VAT returns for entities across the UK and EU.
• Submit ECS Listing and Intrastat for relevant jurisdictions.
• Reconcile VAT accounts and resolve associated tax accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance trackers and filing calendars across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with external advisers to ensure high-quality and efficient tax governance.

Requirements

• Professional experience in VAT compliance across the UK and EU.
• Deep understanding of cross-border VAT concepts, including place of supply, reverse charge, and intra-community transactions.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) for extracting and manipulating financial data.
• Ability to handle high volumes of work under strict fixed deadlines.
• Must be based in or able to work from London or Leeds (Hybrid).
