What you will do

• Own the Android technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering standards from scratch.
• Write high-performance, testable Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose and XML.
• Build and maintain Android CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Fastlane, or Bitrise.
• Manage the full Google Play lifecycle, including app signing and policy handling.
• Implement advanced security measures including SSL pinning, root detection, and biometric auth.
• Mentor developers and lead code reviews to raise the overall engineering bar.

Requirements

• 6+ years of commercial Android development experience with Kotlin.
• Proven track record of technical leadership and driving architectural decisions.
• Deep mastery of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and Hilt/Dagger.
• Expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and MVI patterns.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing end-to-end Play Store releases.
• English: B2+ proficiency required for documentation and async communication.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, crypto, or banking Android applications.
• Integration of KYC (e.g., Sumsub) and Payment (e.g., Stripe) SDKs.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Experience with WebSockets or SSE for real-time market data feeds.
• Usage of AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor in daily development.
