What you will do
- Own the Android technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering standards from scratch.
- Write high-performance, testable Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose and XML.
- Build and maintain Android CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Fastlane, or Bitrise.
- Manage the full Google Play lifecycle, including app signing and policy handling.
- Implement advanced security measures including SSL pinning, root detection, and biometric auth.
- Mentor developers and lead code reviews to raise the overall engineering bar.
Requirements
- 6+ years of commercial Android development experience with Kotlin.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and driving architectural decisions.
- Deep mastery of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, and Hilt/Dagger.
- Expertise in MVVM, Clean Architecture, and MVI patterns.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and managing end-to-end Play Store releases.
- English: B2+ proficiency required for documentation and async communication.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, crypto, or banking Android applications.
- Integration of KYC (e.g., Sumsub) and Payment (e.g., Stripe) SDKs.
- Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
- Experience with WebSockets or SSE for real-time market data feeds.
- Usage of AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor in daily development.
