What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical contact for Japanese and APAC customers during local business hours.
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions connecting services with client systems.
- Build and troubleshoot integrations across a variety of platforms, including game engines, mobile apps, and web.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, integration guides, and code samples.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and go-to-market teams to ensure seamless implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure high availability of services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years in software development, focusing on systems integration and API development.
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese is a must.
- Proficiency in multiple languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, C#, C++, or Java.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, webhook integrations, Next.js, and React.
- Must be based in Japan or Singapore.
Nice to have
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of digital identity, computer security, cryptography, and user data privacy.
- Experience with facial age estimation, ID verification, and mobile driver's licenses.
- Experience with WebView implementations and native mobile app development.
- Familiarity with global youth privacy frameworks such as COPPA and GDPR-K.
