What you will do

• Build and own the frontend for Superluminal using TypeScript and React.
• Design core trading experiences including order entry, positions, and charts.
• Make UX decisions that reflect the actual needs of perpetuals traders.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy on a small, fast-moving team.
• Collaborate closely with the team to ship features rapidly.

Requirements

• Senior or staff-level frontend experience with minimal oversight.
• Strong hands-on skills in TypeScript and React.
• Genuine familiarity with perps trading as a personal trader or close follower of the space.
• Must be based in the US or able to maintain strong overlap with US-hours.
• English: Fluent required.
• Comfort using AI tools like Claude to move quickly while solving complex problems independently.

Nice to have

• Experience at another perps exchange or DeFi-native trading product.
• Experience informally mentoring or leading other engineers.
