What you will do
- Generate awareness for developer tools through technical conversations on LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and other channels.
- Create and maintain welcoming spaces for the developer community on Slack, GitHub, and social media.
- Synthesize community feedback into actionable insights for product and engineering teams.
- Develop training and guidelines to enable other employees to engage effectively with the community.
- Build programs to celebrate and incentivize community members who contribute content or peer support.
- Maximize the impact of high-investment activities by repurposing technical content and documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software engineering, community management, or solution engineering.
- Proven experience engaging in sensitive and complex community situations with empathy and judgment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for social media, GitHub, and project trackers.
- Experience organizing in-person and online events or long-running cross-functional projects.
- Ability to advocate for user needs and translate technical insights into actionable feedback.
- Must be based in the United States or Canada.
