TL;DR

Customer Account Specialist II (Fintech): Managing customer accounts and resolving financial arrears through inbound and outbound communication with an accent on empathy, problem-solving, and regulatory compliance. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Markham, Ontario, Canada. Training is onsite for 6 weeks, followed by a hybrid schedule.

Salary: $47,200 - $66,600 CAD

What you will do

  • Support customers through inbound and outbound calls to resolve financial difficulties and arrears.
  • Deliver legendary customer service by providing tailored advice based on individual banking needs.
  • Resolve customer inquiries efficiently at the first point of contact with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Consistently reach performance objectives, including quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets.
  • Participate in ongoing training and coaching to develop professional skills and product knowledge.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to attend 6 weeks of mandatory onsite training in Markham, Ontario.
  • Exceptional listening skills and ability to navigate multiple computer systems simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor with strong time-management and decision-making capabilities.
  • Flexibility to work rotational shifts between 8am-9pm Monday-Friday and every other Saturday.
  • Previous experience in collections, credit, call centers, or banking is considered an asset.
