What you will do

• Own security standards across all global office locations and manage third-party guard vendors.
• Develop and execute repeatable security playbooks for events ranging from meetups to large-scale activations.
• Assess and mitigate risks for field engagements, including retail floors, warehouses, and private residences.
• Design and oversee travel security frameworks for domestic and international business travel.
• Partner with Workplace, People, and Marketing teams to implement emergency response and incident protocols.
• Serve as the on-the-ground security lead during high-visibility activations and sensitive field engagements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate security operations with depth in multi-office and event/field security.
• Must live within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA or New York, NY.
• Ability to work in-office 2-3 days per week and travel at least 25% of the time.
• Proven track record of managing external vendors and cross-functional partnerships.
• Experience building security programs and protocols in fast-moving, high-growth organizations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate security risks for non-security stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-growth tech companies, marketplaces, or live-event businesses.
• International office or event security experience.
• Hands-on experience with global travel security programs.
