Location: Jersey City, NJ (hybrid; office 2–3 days/week). Candidates must reside in California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington.

Salary: $165,000–$175,000 annually (annual base salary range).

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed team of onshore employees and offshore contractors for corporate technology and web platform security.
• Own cybersecurity governance across the organization by setting direction, standards, priorities, and maintaining security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Administer and secure enterprise identity and access management (SSO/MFA), privileged access controls, and identity lifecycle automation.
• Manage endpoint protection/EDR, enterprise network security (firewalls and switching), and cloud identity/directory security (conditional access, session controls, account hygiene).
• Lead web platform security: cloud network security, source code & CI/CD pipeline security, vulnerability scanning/management, and client-side protections for digital properties.
• Drive incident investigations and response, remediation, root-cause analysis, and support PCI and other compliance initiatives including evidence collection and questionnaires.

Requirements

• 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, including cloud security, infrastructure security, network security, or security engineering.
• Experience leading and developing security engineers, including distributed and offshore team members or contractors.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise identity management (authentication/authorization, privileged access) and endpoint protection/threat detection.
• Practical experience securing enterprise firewalls, network infrastructure, and cloud networking across multiple cloud providers.
• Strong scripting and automation skills for security workflows and identity lifecycle automation.
• Experience supporting PCI audits, compliance assessments, and security reviews.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Security+ and/or GIAC certifications.
• Experience applying AI tools to security and engineering workflows (automation, detection, triage, reporting) with familiarity in governing safe AI adoption in an enterprise.
