Data Scientist

Location: Warsaw, Poland; office-centric hybrid schedule. Standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; working from home is generally available on Wednesdays, while Friday requirements depend on the work.

Salary: 29,000–32,900 PLN gross per month, plus potential equity and other compensation components.

What you will do

• Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new product features.
• Investigate high-level questions about collaborative patterns and successful customer teams.
• Add metrics and aggregations to the data warehouse to enable new analyses.
• Build models that predict the growth trajectories of customer segments.
• Partner with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of experience applying data science techniques to technical product development and decision-making.
• Strong background in statistics, mathematics, information science, or another quantitative discipline.
• Fluency in at least one modern data-processing language, such as Python or Scala.
• Proficiency with relational data modeling and SQL, plus expertise in statistical methods and experimental design.
• Experience with search ranking, relevance or quality measurement, distributed data processing systems such as Spark or Redshift, and advanced statistical or machine learning models.
