Senior Manager, Project Delivery (Aviation)

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor Project Managers, Scrum Masters, and Business Analysts.
• Develop and evolve project delivery practices across Agile, hybrid, and traditional methodologies.
• Partner with business, engineering, and cross-functional leaders to deliver business value consistently.
• Lead quarterly planning and manage risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery impediments.
• Drive roadmap development, requirements management, backlog management, release planning, and delivery governance.
• Establish delivery metrics and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, transparency, and team satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in project delivery roles, including at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, hybrid and traditional project management, and SAFe, with experience scaling practices across multiple teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams, with strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with project delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Smartsheet.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional, SAFe Program Consultant, PMI-ACP, ICAgile, or PMP.
