TL;DR
Legal Counsel (GDPR): Providing independent legal advice and monitoring compliance with data protection laws for a venture builder in the health and wellness industry with an accent on GDPR, data breach management, and risk assessment. Location: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote) in Vilnius, Lithuania; hubs also available in Klaipėda and Riga.
Salary: 4,000–6,000 EUR Gross/month

What you will do
- Monitor compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection laws.
- Manage data protection impact assessments and lead data breach management processes.
- Advise on and assess data protection-related contracts.
- Serve as the primary contact point for supervisory authorities and data subjects.
- Develop best practice guidelines and lead data protection awareness programs.
- Train employees on the provisions of GDPR and other privacy laws.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a law firm, preferably in the tech or startup sector.
- Minimum 2 years of experience specifically focused on data protection and privacy.
- Deep knowledge of GDPR and other data protection regulations.
- Ability to translate complex legal requirements into business-oriented language.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing privacy risks and impact.
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency.
