TL;DR
Business Analyst Middle (Fintech): Designing and improving real-time monitoring and decisioning systems for antifraud with an accent on risk controls, alerting, and investigation workflows. Focus on bridging communication between engineering, data/ML, and risk operations to reduce fraud losses and improve detection quality.
Location: Hybrid in Mexico. Relocation support to Mexico is available for the employee and their family.

What you will do
- Collect and formalize requirements from stakeholders, prioritize changes based on risk, and lead delivery from discovery to rollout.
- Facilitate alignment on monitoring roadmaps and control design between engineering, data/ML, and risk operations.
- Identify root causes of monitoring gaps, such as false positives or data quality issues, and coordinate resolutions.
- Implement risk analytics and reporting best practices to optimize control effectiveness and investigation efficiency.
- Collaborate with designers to shape case-management UX and improve investigator productivity.
Requirements
- Basic SQL proficiency for data validation and exploratory analysis.
- Proven experience in managing requirements for complex systems, preferably in fintech, banking, or risk.
- Ability to translate risk needs into deliverables with an understanding of microservices, integrations, and event flows.
- Strong analytical thinking focused on risk, controls, and measurable outcomes.
- Experience in cross-team stakeholder management and process visualization.
- English: B2 level or higher required.
Nice to have
- Experience with BI tools such as Superset or Tableau for KPI design and monitoring.
- Familiarity with risk scoring (rules/ML), alert triage, and case management.
- Understanding of APIs and event streaming platforms like Kafka.
