Data Business Analyst

Location: 100% remote from Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, or Mexico

What you will do

• Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Maintain transformation rules, data dictionaries, metric definitions, and other project documentation.
• Design and implement mappings between multiple data sources.
• Analyze and interpret data to support business decisions using SQL.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders through surveys, workshops, and meetings.
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience conducting workshops, leading meetings, and facilitating brainstorming sessions.
• Experience documenting data projects.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English required.
• Strong experience writing advanced SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
• Understanding of data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse, and ETL concepts.
• Experience with data warehouses, data lakes, and enterprise big data platforms.
• Experience with data visualization using Power BI or another BI tool.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pharma or HLS industry-related projects.
• Experience with Databricks and Power BI.
