Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal. Relocation package available.

What you will do

• Build responsive and adaptable web frontends on top of scalable microservices.
• Optimize product performance by measuring and monitoring system metrics.
• Implement and iterate on product features using A/B experiments and data analysis.
• Collaborate with Backend, iOS, Android engineers, UX designers, and Product Managers.
• Develop software to optimize shipping and logistics workflows for buyers and sellers.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Frontend Engineer.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong experience with React, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, or Tailwind.
• Solid understanding of browser environments (HTTP/S, Critical Render Path, CORS, Caching, CDNs).
• Knowledge of programming principles like SOLID and DRY.
• Experience working in product companies within autonomous, cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with NodeJS and experience running it in production.
• Experience with Rails.
