TL;DR

Frontend Developer (Next/React): Developing and maintaining Client & Market platforms for luxury Maisons with an accent on composable architectures and API middleware. Focus on building scalable, high-performance user interfaces and integrating various backend systems to ensure a seamless luxury digital experience.

Location: Hybrid: Must be based in Lisbon, Portugal (office 3 times per week)

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using Next/React JS.
  • Design and implement API middleware to support frontend functionality and backend integration.
  • Utilize the Alokai platform to develop and integrate scalable software solutions.
  • Implement component-based architectures, state management, and testing best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers in a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in frontend development.
  • Proficiency in Next/React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Tailwind.
  • Experience with Node.js, npm, and RESTful APIs.
  • English: Fluent (C1) proficiency required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Alokai platform and/or Express.js framework.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese.
  • Experience with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
