TL;DR

Tech Specialist (Retail/API Platform): Providing Level 3 production and platform support for a global API platform with an accent on troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring platform stability. What you will do

  • Provide L3 support for the BSL Central API Platform, focusing on stability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues involving REST APIs, infrastructure, and system flows.
  • Own the end-to-end incident management process, including the resolution of critical P1 incidents.
  • Develop automation scripts and operational tooling using Python to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze JSON payloads and utilize SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and L2 support teams to perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in L3 Production, Application, or Platform Support.
  • Retail or Restaurants industry background is mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across REST APIs, networking, DNS, and Load Balancers.
  • Ability to support a 24/7 environment and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Proficiency in reading JSON payloads and using SQL for data validation.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of .NET/C# applications and debugging.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.
