What you will do

• Manage and configure Brocade SAN switches, including zoning and performance tuning.
• Deploy and maintain NetApp storage systems, handling provisioning, snapshots, and replication.
• Monitor storage performance to identify bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies.
• Develop data protection and backup strategies using SnapMirror and SnapVault.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure cost-effective growth and system scalability.
• Ensure storage systems meet multi-tenant security, compliance, and authorization requirements.

Requirements

• Must hold an active TS/SCI Poly clearance.
• Expertise in data storage concepts including SAN, NAS, and object storage.
• Proficiency in storage platforms such as NetApp, Dell, and Hitachi.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation.
• Strong understanding of storage security best practices and data encryption.
• Knowledge of storage protocols including NFS, SMB, FC, FCoE, and iSCSI.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud storage solutions like Azure Blob or Amazon S3.
• Knowledge of file systems such as Lustre, BeeGFS, or GPFS.
• Experience working in High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.
• Relevant certifications such as HDSCP, VCS, or CompTIA Security+.
