What you will do

• Define and own the multi-year target architecture across the product suite, balancing autonomy with shared platform leverage.
• Develop strategies to ensure products can be delivered as on-premise, private cloud, public cloud, or pure cloud SaaS.
• Drive platform and shared-services strategy for identity, data, integration, and observability to reduce fragmentation.
• Embed security, privacy, and regulatory compliance into the architecture by design for financial services.
• Establish and run architecture governance, including standards, decision records, and a technology radar.
• Lead and mentor a community of architects and senior engineers to grow architectural capability across the organization.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with a proven track record in senior architecture roles (Principal or Chief level).
• Demonstrated ownership of architecture for enterprise-grade products delivered via both on-premise and cloud/SaaS models.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, multi-tenancy, data architecture, and at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools, specifically Kubernetes.
• Experience operating in regulated environments, preferably within financial services.
• Proven ability to influence senior engineers, product leaders, and executives without direct authority.

• Familiarity with multi-region data residency, sovereignty, and localization requirements.

• Background with security certifications and frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.
