🚀 QA Team Lead (FinTech) — Limassol, Cyprus

Location: Limassol, Cyprus (Onsite / Office)

Salary: EUR 5,000 – EUR 6,000 (Net)

We are looking for an experienced QA Team Lead to join our growing FinTech product team. In this role, you’ll lead QA initiatives, improve testing processes, mentor engineers, and ensure high product quality across backend systems and payment-related services.

🎯 Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
Strategy: Improve QA processes, testing strategies, and quality standards across the SDLC.
Coordination: Coordinate testing across multiple projects, releases, and handle defect management/risk assessment.
Collaboration: Partner closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Stakeholders.
Hands-on Tech: Perform backend/API testing, analyze logs, and troubleshoot issues via Grafana & Kibana.
Automation: Drive QA automation initiatives and improve automated test coverage.

💻 What We’re Looking For
5+ years of professional experience in software testing.
2+ years of experience leading QA teams or projects.
Industry: Strong FinTech domain experience.
Backend Tools: Solid backend/API testing skills (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
Monitoring: Practical experience with Grafana, Kibana, and monitoring systems.
Automation: Hands-on experience with QA automation frameworks and automated testing.
Skills: Deep understanding of STLC, QA methodologies, and strong organizational/communication skills.

Nice to Have:
Experience with payment systems.
Testing gRPC and event-driven architecture.
Experience building QA automation frameworks from scratch.
Agile/Scrum experience and a product-oriented mindset.
