What you will do

• Review denied insurance claims and patients' medical files to identify grounds for appeal.
• Develop and execute strategies to reverse claim denials.
• Create professional written appeals to secure payments for client hospitals.
• Manage and organize appeal workflows based on internal, client, and insurance deadlines.
• Ensure all patient protected health information (PHI) is handled in accordance with HIPAA standards.

Requirements

• Active professional license: Physician's Assistant (PA), Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Physical Therapist (PT), or Occupational Therapist (OT).
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
• High level of reading comprehension and ability to analyze complex medical information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to prioritize workload under strict deadlines.
