Senior Test Engineer (Freelancer)

What you will do

• Define testing scope, approaches, scenarios, test cases, and test data for products and releases.
• Plan testing activities, track progress, align priorities, and coordinate environments and tools.
• Automate test cases and apply test analysis and automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage.
• Execute tests, assess product quality, and report outcomes.
• Review requirements and design documentation and improve testing approaches.
• Collaborate with Test Engineers and technical and business stakeholders on quality priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus at least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of software testing standards, methodologies, test planning, scenario design, case creation, and execution.
• Proficiency in API testing with Postman, Kreya, or similar tools, as well as automated testing and system integration testing.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, containerized environments, observability tools, enterprise system integration, and defect management.
• Ability to understand business requirements, set testing priorities, manage UAT, and work with Agile methodologies.
