What you will do

• Develop and maintain software for regional TV platforms, focused on Europe and Australia markets
• Collaborate with SOC vendors to support new TV projects and resolve hirify.global-specific technical issues
• Support certification processes with organizations such as ETV, the BBC, and DTG
• Define requirements, design, and implement new software features for TV platform projects
• Port and adapt software to meet regional standards and specifications, including HbbTV
• Troubleshoot issues across the software stack and use AI coding assistants/agentic tools to improve development velocity and code quality

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience with C and/or C++ in a commercial environment
• Familiarity with Python
• Interest in or exposure to embedded systems or low-level software development
• Advanced AI fluency: default to AI coding assistants/agentic tools, stay current, and share prompt patterns/discoveries with the team
• Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach to resolving technical challenges
