Apps Integration Engineer (Python)

Location: Hybrid (2 days per week in London, UK (Osterley)). Must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; no sponsorship provided.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end app integration lifecycle from early feasibility assessments through to live updates.
• Integrate and support partner applications using emerging and established web technologies.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues using root-cause analysis.
• Optimize app performance and stability, specifically regarding memory, graphics, and streaming capabilities.
• Develop test applications, support tools, and technical documentation for partners.
• Create, package, and publish application widgets while improving efficiency tools.

Requirements

• Experience in software development or application integration, ideally within embedded platform environments.
• Strong Linux knowledge and proficiency with GitHub or similar version control processes.
• Proficiency in Python or Shell scripting and understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with multi-threaded and multi-process systems, including memory management and embedded constraints.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate with product and quality teams.

Nice to have

• Exposure to web technologies and media streaming.
• Knowledge of languages such as JavaScript, C++, C, or HTML/CSS.
