What you will do

• Develop and maintain the organisation's IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee IT controls to manage risk and ensure compliance with ISO 27001, COBIT, and ITIL.
• Lead governance for IT change management, risk mitigation, and service delivery activities.
• Act as the primary contact for internal and external IT audits and implement remedial actions.
• Manage data governance, including data quality, integrity, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee the IT budget and optimise strategic investment decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT governance, risk, audit, and security within highly regulated or complex organisations.
• Deep understanding of IT-GRC principles and standards (ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000).
• Strong technical background in QA, testing, and release management.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships with sound commercial judgment.
• Skilled stakeholder engagement and team leadership capabilities.
• Must be based in or able to work from Greater Manchester, UK.
