What you will do
- Prepare and coordinate direct and indirect tax filings across APAC jurisdictions (corporate income tax, WHT, VAT, and local business taxes).
- Build tax computations, reconciliations, and supporting schedules; monitor filing calendars and coordinate tax payments.
- Liaise with internal finance/accounting teams to collect information needed for tax filings.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and service providers for statutory reporting, registrations, and compliance support.
- Maintain tax records and support tax audits, notices, and information requests from tax authorities.
- Support tax process improvements and automation initiatives, including implementation of new tax requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in tax compliance, tax reporting, or accounting with tax responsibilities.
- Experience preparing tax returns, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Strong understanding of Philippine tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with financial data and reconciliations.
- English: professional proficiency to articulate financial data and discuss tax compliance fluently.
