Salary: $160,000 – $200,000 + equity

What you will do

• Develop reliable data solutions used across the organization, from factory floors to mission control.
• Lead data architecture design, drive optimization, and ensure total data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers and business leaders to design efficient data solutions.
• Own the full lifecycle of data products from initial concept to full-fledged production.
• Mentor team members and foster a culture of transparency, integrity, and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Math, or STEM (or 12+ years of professional software engineering experience).
• 8+ years of experience with structured databases such as MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Snowflake.
• 5+ years of experience with hosted database solutions like AWS RDS and AWS PostgreSQL.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD deployment, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS).
• 3+ years of experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed data designs, including caching, sharding, and data validation.
• Experience with public cloud data warehouse solutions.
• Data design experience specifically for physical product manufacturing.
• Strong working experience with data analytics tools like AWS Redshift.
