Location: Montreal, QC, Canada. Must possess Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a valid work permit.

Compensation: $150,000 - 170,000 plus bonus

What you will do

• Own data science initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing through production deployment and performance monitoring.
• Design and validate machine learning models, including predictive, forecasting, classification, and anomaly detection systems.
• Establish experimentation and A/B testing frameworks to measure and prove business impact.
• Collaborate with AI, ML, and Data Engineers to productionize models and analytical pipelines into enterprise platforms.
• Ensure responsible AI practices, focusing on explainability, bias checks, and compliance with global data privacy standards.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of experimentation, rigor, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or Advanced Analytics with proven delivery of enterprise-scale AI initiatives.
• Strong expertise in statistical inference, predictive modeling, causal inference, and optimization.
• Hands-on proficiency with Python, pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and SQL.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, XGBoost, LightGBM, or time series forecasting frameworks.
• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada (Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or valid work permit).
