What you will do

• Design and ship a scalable test automation platform including frameworks, fixtures, and reporting.
• Modernize CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, reliable signal through parallelization and impact analysis.
• Drive AI-driven test automation by applying LLMs to test generation, self-healing, and visual regression.
• Establish an eval discipline for AI/agent stacks using golden datasets and rigorous rubrics.
• Define and operate quality metrics, SLOs, and dashboards to ensure visibility across the SDLC.
• Build and lead a 3–5 person team of test automation engineers focused on platform leverage.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years leading test automation or quality engineering functions.
• 3+ years of management experience building or scaling engineering teams.
• Hands-on expertise in Python and/or TypeScript.
• Deep experience with CI/CD at scale (GitHub Actions, Nx, Turborepo, or Bazel).
• Proven track record of AI-driven test automation and eval framework implementation.
• Strong judgment in build-vs-buy strategies for test infrastructure and observability.

Nice to have

• Experience in GxP-regulated environments or scientific data integrity programs.
• Background in lab automation, LIMS, or instrument-driven systems.
• Experience with performance/load testing or chaos engineering.
