What you will do

• Design and build evaluation systems to measure AI correctness, safety, and latency.
• Develop and maintain benchmarks, including golden sets and adversarial stress cases.
• Build automated quality gates and regression workflows to block degraded releases.
• Partner with product and engineering to define safe tool/action contracts for AI agents.
• Own model improvement loops, including data labeling, error taxonomy, and preference optimization.
• Design monitoring and incident response processes for AI telemetry and alerting.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience shipping production software.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience building evaluation frameworks and benchmark suites for complex systems like LLMs or agents.
• Experience running model improvement cycles, including dataset curation and offline experimentation.
• Ability to define metrics and drive engineering decisions from data.
• Must be based in the US to comply with company benefits and employment structure.

Nice to have

• Experience with fine-tuning, preference optimization, or distillation techniques.
• Experience creating domain-specific adversarial suites for high-stakes applications.
• Deep experience with trading across asset classes and margin types.
