What you will do

  • Perform accuracy checks on dispensed medicines to ensure full compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end dispensing process within the pharmacy operation.
  • Maintain accurate prescription records and escalate discrepancies immediately.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and foster a culture of accountability and quality.
  • Stay updated on professional development and regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure timely and accurate patient care.

Requirements

  • Level 3 NVQ in Pharmacy Services (ACT) or equivalent qualification required.
  • Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC is mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with a strong track record in accuracy checking.
  • Deep working knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and SOPs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to take personal accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
