Location: Hybrid in Sofia, Bulgaria (occasional travel to office required)
Salary: €27.5K – €37.5K

What you will do
- Drive the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring accurate vendor payments and expense reimbursements.
- Execute month-end and year-end closes, including bank reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Optimize financial workflows and systems using NetSuite, Bill.com, and AI-driven automation tools like Claude.
- Act as the primary liaison for vendor management and collaborate with global internal teams.
- Support strategic financial initiatives, including P&L flux analyses and audit compliance documentation.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable, including exposure to international operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills for a global organization.
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Nice to have
- Experience working in a fast-paced tech or start-up environment.
- Technical knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in tools such as NetSuite, Bill.com, Payhawk, or Expensify.
- Experience leveraging AI or creating automation workflows within finance functions.
