What you will do

• Develop and maintain a cost accounting system to ensure accurate costing and inventory levels.
• Perform variance analysis by comparing standard costs to actual costs and reporting findings by customer and part number.
• Coordinate physical inventory counts and handle account reconciliation for cycle counts.
• Analyze effects of product design changes, raw materials, and manufacturing methods on total costs.
• Prepare monthly gross margin analysis and support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing cost accounting.
• Proficiency in Excel and hands-on experience with integrated ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and local GAAP.
• Strong communication skills in both German and English.
• Must be based in Munich.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of IFRS as applied to manufacturing environments.
• Experience manipulating large databases.
