What you will do
- Monitor and analyze network traffic to identify, report, and mitigate potential security threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments of information systems and provide recommendations for risk prioritization.
- Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to validate and resolve network alerts.
- Analyze data from various cyber defense tools, including IDS alerts, firewalls, and network traffic logs.
- Perform cyber defense trend analysis and report findings to enhance security controls.
- Respond to security-related incidents and service requests within established SLAs.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in Information Security or Computer Science.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CISM, or GIAC.
- Experience with endpoint security tools (e.g., Cisco AMP, Symantec) and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure.
- Must be based in the USA.
- Must be able to travel to client or corporate office locations as required.
