What you will do

• Develop and maintain backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Design and implement REST APIs and WebSocket services.
• Integrate external services and internal microservices.
• Create Laravel database migrations and write unit tests to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with QA engineers and business analysts using Git (GitLab).

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial development experience.
• Strong expertise in PHP 7.4+ and Laravel.
• Proficiency in Kafka/RabbitMQ multi-node consuming and producing.
• Experience in DB query building and optimization (MySQL 5.7+, PostgreSQL 16.8+).
• Knowledge of REST API, WebSockets, and Git (GitLab).
• Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Belgrade, Serbia.
