TL;DR
PHP Developer (Laravel) (Backend): Developing and maintaining backend applications, REST APIs, WebSocket services, and integrations with external systems and internal microservices with an accent on message brokers, database optimization, and reliable testing. Focus on building multi-node Kafka/RabbitMQ consumers and producers, optimizing MySQL/PostgreSQL queries, and troubleshooting application performance.

What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using PHP and Laravel.
  • Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and WebSocket services.
  • Integrate external services and internal microservices.
  • Create and maintain Laravel database migrations and unit tests.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
  • Strong PHP 7.4+ and Laravel expertise.
  • Strong experience with multi-node Kafka or RabbitMQ consuming and producing.
  • Experience optimizing database queries with MySQL 5.7+ and PostgreSQL 16.8+.
  • Experience with REST APIs, WebSocket services, Laravel unit tests, and database migrations.
  • Confident Git and GitLab usage, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
