What you will do

• Develop, enhance, and maintain reusable front-end components using Web Components (LitHTML) and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with back-end engineers to build seamless, intuitive experiences for the ING developer platform.
• Implement scalable, performant, and clean front-end code ensuring high standards for accessibility and security.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers to grow front-end craftsmanship within the squad.
• Support the full DevOps lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
• Continuously improve engineering culture, automation, and CI/CD pipelines within an Agile DevOps team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proven experience with JavaScript and modern front-end patterns/frameworks.
• Experience with Web Components or a strong willingness to learn.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, testing, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Fluent communication skills in English.
• Awareness of working within complex IT environments where risk and compliance are critical.

Nice to have

• Full-stack development experience.
• Experience building developer-facing platforms or APIs.
• Experience shaping front-end guidelines, shared libraries, or design systems.
