Senior Frontend Engineer (Crypto)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain consumer-facing features across web with React and mobile with React Native, from concept through production monitoring.
• Own product work across discovery, technical design, release, monitoring, experimentation, and iteration.
• Design and analyse A/B tests, feature experiments, and hypotheses using user and product data.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, Platform, and Mobile Engineering to deliver coherent cross-platform experiences.
• Make architecture and framework decisions while maintaining standards for correctness, accessibility, performance, testability, and code quality.
• Mentor engineers and lead complex initiatives across web and mobile surfaces.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on consumer-facing web and/or mobile products.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and the React ecosystem, including state management, data fetching, and component architecture trade-offs.
• Production experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development, including App Store and Google Play release pipelines.
• Experience with Next.js App Router, React Server Components, and client/server boundary decisions.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, feature flags, and experimentation frameworks such as LaunchDarkly or Optimizely.
• Experience with WebSockets or Server-Sent Events for real-time UI updates.
• Strong testing experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress, including judgement about when to use each.
• Familiarity with Vite, Webpack, CI/CD pipelines, and performance profiling.
• Experience in fintech, crypto, payments, or other high-trust consumer products.
• Strong written and verbal English, including the ability to write RFCs, review code, and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Active AI-assisted development workflow using Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or an equivalent, with responsibility for reviewing and owning the output.
