DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Build, manage, and scale Kubernetes clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage Google Cloud access and IAM, including services such as Looker and BigQuery.
• Maintain databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Set up and operate monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance-optimisation solutions.
• Build and improve infrastructure automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical support to development teams and establish infrastructure standards and documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with on-premises sharded MongoDB clusters.
• Extensive experience building, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters, including GKE or manual Kubernetes.
• Experience designing highly available and resilient infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and log collection using tools such as rsyslog, Grafana, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Strong Linux administration experience, particularly Ubuntu LTS, plus scripting and automation with Terraform, Packer, Ansible, and Bash.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with experience in medium to large organisations and globally distributed business units.

Nice to have

• Experience with Grafana Loki and major cloud platforms including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Python, Go, MySQL, PostgreSQL, databases, and GitLab CI/CD platforms.
• Relevant certifications and an interest in gaming.
