Senior Solution Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical relationship for a strategic Global Account in financial services, from discovery to ongoing expansion.
• Design and deliver solution architectures and executive presentations connecting platform capabilities to AI priorities.
• Lead proof of concept (PoC) engagements for risk analytics, regulatory data platforms, and real-time fraud detection.
• Act as a subject matter expert on financial services data architecture and complex regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Account Executives to co-develop joint success plans and ensure technical alignment.
• Mentor junior Solution Engineers and coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve account blockers.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, technical consulting, or data engineering in enterprise B2B technology.
• Deep understanding of financial services data use cases including risk management and regulatory reporting (Basel, MiFID II, GDPR).
• Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, and data engineering tools (dbt, Spark, Kafka).
• Proven track record of engaging credibly with CDOs, CTOs, and CIOs at global financial institutions.
• Experience using AI and LLM-based tools in technical workflows.
• Must be based in London, GB for a hybrid work arrangement.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, and Native Apps.
• Experience migrating legacy platforms such as Teradata, Oracle, or Hadoop to the cloud.
• Familiarity with real-time data architectures and event-driven platforms in regulated environments.
• Knowledge of data mesh, data product design, or enterprise data governance frameworks.
