What you will do

• Develop and consolidate software and databases dedicated to in-situ/on-farm genetic resources.
• Test, validate, and deploy the Aleloinsitu system in a live web production environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Ensure system responsiveness and memory optimization for desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Implement and monitor APIs, integration frameworks, and assisted data migration workflows.

Requirements

• University degree in Software Engineering or a related Information Technology field.
• Practical knowledge of IT solutions applied to the management of genetic resources (ex-situ and in-situ/on-farm).
• Experience in planning and implementing APIs and data migration workflows.
• Background in systems development projects for research in Genetic Resources, specifically in plant and microorganism sectors.
• Must be eligible for appointment as National Project Personnel (NPP) in Brazil.
