What you will do
- Provide artistic feedback and redlines to internal and external art teams.
- Assist the Art Director in defining and adhering to the project's visual goals.
- Manage art resourcing and personnel needs in collaboration with producers.
- Create mockups for UI elements, icons, and widgets while ensuring consistent implementation.
- Optimize workflows between art teams, tech art, and programming.
- Establish and maintain guidelines for asset exporting and naming conventions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of practical art department experience in interactive media, film, or graphic design.
- Expert knowledge of Photoshop with strong painting and rendering skills.
- Strong draftsmanship, character posing, and understanding of perspective.
- Foundational skills in drawing, graphic design, and animation.
- Ability to communicate effectively across programming, art, design, and production disciplines.
- Passion for games, including free-to-play models.
Nice to have
- Experience with Unity and Jira project management software.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology.
- Expert knowledge of animation.
- Experience developing personal game projects or creating comics.
