What you will do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and architecture options.
• Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Ensure high data quality and timely delivery of datasets to stakeholders.
• Review architecture designs and code to maintain high engineering standards.
• Manage on-call duties, including debugging and resolving complex data pipeline issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of professional data engineering experience in distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one data processing language such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Solid knowledge of relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and infrastructure, specifically AWS.
• Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, or Kafka.
