Tax Manager

Location: Must be based in Seattle, WA or San Francisco, CA

Salary: $89,900 – $172,900 USD (depending on location and experience)

What you will do

• Analyze and document direct and indirect tax impacts of new projects, products, and initiatives.
• Manage external counsel and tax advisors regarding advisory requests and compliance documentation.
• Educate internal business partners and stakeholders on tax issues and technical recommendations.
• Coordinate tax requirements across internal teams including Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and Commerce.

Requirements

• CPA or JD (LLM, Master of Tax, or relevant practice experience).
• 3+ years of experience in Big 4, law firm, or in-house tax planning for multinational digital enterprises.
• Practical experience with US and non-US tax issues for international digital products.
• Familiarity with income tax, withholding tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and DST concepts.

Nice to have

• Experience in entertainment, media, ads, or social media platform businesses.
• Prior knowledge of hirify.global operations.
