TL;DR

What you will do

  • Apply state-of-the-art machine learning techniques to complex financial domains.
  • Collaborate with researchers and quants to build flexible, reusable frameworks for financial ML.
  • Optimize training pipelines to maximize the efficiency of HPC resources.
  • Integrate ML models into production systems where latency is critical.
  • Develop large-scale ML systems using C, C++, Python, and CUDA.
  • Improve research productivity by reducing iteration cycle times.

Requirements

  • Strong publication record at top-tier AI conferences (ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, etc.) or significant open-source contributions.
  • Solid background in modern deep learning techniques and language modeling architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
  • Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with quantitative researchers.
  • Must be eligible for CPT/OPT if an international student.

Nice to have

  • Experience with HPC and distributed large model training.
  • GPU performance optimization skills (CUDA or ROCm).
  • Experience with end-to-end model development.
