Salary: $145,000-$180,000 annually

Tyson & Mendes is a fast-growing civil defense firm focused on insurance defense and trial advocacy.

What you will do

  • Develop compelling case themes and drive strategy for high-stakes insurance defense matters.
  • Independently handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials.
  • Manage full case handling responsibilities, including all facets of discovery and trial.
  • Lead and direct less experienced attorneys, including mentoring and providing litigation leadership.
  • Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate relationships with current and future clients.

Requirements

  • JD from an ABA-approved school.
  • Active bar license in the State of Washington is required.
  • 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with litigation support, deposition, and trial preparation.
  • Ability to manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
