What you will do

• Review, critique, and author high-quality ground-truth text datasets for model optimization.
• Interface with machine learning engineers to align on frameworks for model comparison and RLHF.
• Partner with operations teams to refine data pipelines and improve generative AI task efficiency.
• Train, guide, and mentor junior AI writing specialists to maintain rigorous military standards.
• Analyze complex doctrinal, operational, and strategic documents for AI training purposes.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. military officer with at least five years as a Company Grade Officer (O-3 or higher).
• Direct experience in G-4 or J-4 directorates with oversight of Class VIII (Medical Materiel) supply chains.
• Must hold or have held specific AOC/Designator codes (e.g., 70H, 70K, 90A, 1805, 0402, 3002).
• Deep interest in the intersection of AI/ML technologies and national security.
• Exceptional outcome-orientation and ability to work in ambiguous startup environments.
• Availability to work during normal business hours (8:30am to 5:00pm EST).
