What you will do

• Design and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure and tooling for software-defined manufacturing.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
• Create clear documentation and facilitate cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Investigate design approaches, prototype new technologies, and evaluate technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with adjacent teams to improve frameworks and infrastructure based on real-world field usage.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA
• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, or C#.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and modern CNCF paradigms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and configuration management like Ansible.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and GitOps workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with bare-metal or on-prem infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills for gathering requirements and architecting systems.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow team members.
• Knowledge of observability stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
