Senior Production Planner (Supply Chain): Ensuring the accuracy, stability, and efficiency of all production planning and scheduling activities with an accent on MRP logic, capacity planning, and material flow optimization. Focus on driving operational excellence, coordinating cross-functional efforts to meet customer demand, and maintaining precise planning data to achieve quality and delivery objectives.

Location: Must be based in Billerica, MA, US

What you will do

  • Develop, manage, and refine production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and operational stability.
  • Maintain accurate planning inputs including sales orders, forecasts, and strategic build plans.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to resolve material shortages and schedule disruptions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent shortages or obsolescence.
  • Ensure planning data integrity, including BOM accuracy, lead times, and capacity parameters.
  • Analyze capacity constraints and implement improvements to enhance throughput and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the US and comply with the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
  • 7–10 years of experience in manufacturing planning and scheduling.
  • Expert-level proficiency in MRP logic, capacity planning, and order policies.
  • Strong knowledge of master scheduling, demand management, and cost accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing concepts to improve operational flow.
