Manager I, Engineering - Source Code Integration

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of engineers across varied experience levels, including performance management and career development.
• Guide technical and strategic discussions with the team and stakeholders.
• Own relationships with product teams and major stakeholders while prioritizing platform investments and competing requests.
• Run a lightweight delivery process with demos, tracking, and frequent iteration.
• Stay close to platform systems, write code, and troubleshoot issues to unblock the team.
• Support internal and external customers by resolving issues and improving the integration experience systematically.

Requirements

• Backend engineering experience building robust systems composed of multiple services, data streams, and stores operating at scale.
• Significant experience with backend technologies such as Go, Python, or Java, plus PostgreSQL and Kafka.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and platform services.
• Ability to make trade-offs between short-term impact and long-term sustainability and work closely with product and internal teams.
• Collaborative, proactive leadership style and the ability to provide direction in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Positivity toward AI and experience using agentic tools for development and analysis.
