Senior DevOps Engineer (German)

TL;DR

Senior DevOps Engineer (OpenShift/GitOps): Supporting and improving a complex enterprise platform for a large banking customer with an accent on platform reliability and CI/CD enablement. Focus on managing GitOps deployments via ArgoCD, automating infrastructure with PowerShell, and resolving complex production issues.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain OpenShift-based platform infrastructure to ensure stability, performance, and availability.
• Manage GitOps deployments using ArgoCD and support the CI/CD ecosystem including Bitbucket, Nexus, and Harbor.
• Investigate complex platform and networking issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrences.
• Automate infrastructure using PowerShell and support HashiCorp Vault and container platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, DB, infrastructure) and customer stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE.
• Strong expertise in OpenShift (or Kubernetes), ArgoCD, and GitOps.
• Proficiency with Bitbucket, HashiCorp Vault, Harbor/Nexus, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP networking, and PowerShell scripting.
• Fluent German and English.
• Must be based in Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience with Keycloak, Automic, or Helm.
• Background in banking or large-scale enterprise environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, or Elastic.
